Ryan Reynolds has opened up about how he and wife Blake Lively, 37, parent their four kids, saying they’re much easier on them than his parents were on him.
“We’re so soft. I don’t yell. I grew up with – it was nuts, it was like an improvised militia,” says Ryan, 47, whose father James was a formerr Canadian mounted policeman.
Speaking at a tech conference, the Deadpool star says he grew up with a “scarcity mindset” – a way of thinking that focuses on what you don’t have – but that hasn’t been passed on to his kids James, nine, Inez, seven, Betty, four, and Olin, one, partly because “they were born on Easy Street”.
