I walk up Mt Eden every single day. Okay, maybe every second or third day. Anyway, on my recent weekly walk up Mt Eden with our dog, Cookie, there was drama. Once on the maunga proper, I let her off the leash. She loves it! She can run at dog speed rather than dawdle at Corbett speed. She can get some good exercise, gather some fantastic smells and make aromatic memories. The Queen’s former dresser Angela Kelly has hit back at an online troll who has accused her of kickstarting a hate campaign against Meghan, Duchess of Sussex. My husband and I were married on February 3, 1951, coming up 73 years. He will be 95 on September 20, then it’s my turn on February 22, 2024. One of the many things for which I am grateful is being able to gift the two grandchildren swimming lessons. For the past two years, every Sunday morning, myself or the kids’ parents head off to Albany, where they are enrolled at the Hilton Brown swimming school. Gone are the days when little ones would be hurled by their dads into the nearest pond or river and left to literally sink or swim. The family bach tucked on the hill in Karekare has always been home to Amber Rhodes. Acne doesn’t discriminate, and with acne often comes acne scarring. Spot of bother Post-acne scarring can come in different forms and variations, like red or brown discoloration, a blemish or a change in skin texture. Atrophic scars – also known as depressed acne scars – form an indentationtion on the skin and are often noticeable when light shines on the skin from a certain angle, causing the surface of the skin to look uneven. We used: Resene Sea Green, Resene Gold Dust metallic, Resene Kaitoke Green, Resene Vibe, Resene Black, Resene Tango, Resene Kombi, Resene Silver Aluminium metallic and Resene Apache ● MDF board ● Resene Quick Dry primer undercoat ● Paintbrush ● Sandpaper ● 2 cups or tin cans ● Teaspoon ● Skewer or toothpick 1 Cut your MDF to size – this one is 20cm x 25.5cm. Using Resene Quick Dry, undercoat the MDF. Once dry, use a fine grit sandpaper to sand the MDF board, particularly on the edges where MDF gets the roughest after priming.
