There’s an expression going round used widely by people much younger than me. I’d never heard it until now. It cracks me up. Teenagers have lots of similar expressions, usually disguised by abbreviations. But this one’s so devilishly uncompromising. It’s Resting B*tch Face or RBF. Resting facial expression is what remains on your face when you’re not trying any more. It’s your default expression. Make your own tassel garland Take a ball of jersey knit yarn and cut into 12 x 10cm lengths. Place together and fold in half. Take a small length of yarn and tie around top of tassel, leaving a small loop at top. Repeat to make 12 tassels (or as many as you wish). Thread a long piece of yarn through loops. Berry fizz PREPARATION TIME 10 MINS SERVES 6-8 2 cups frozen raspberries, thawed 1/3 cup icing sugar Juice of 1 orange 1 cup mixed fresh berries (raspberries, blueberries, diced strawberries) 750ml Prosecco or sparkling wine Soda water, to top up (optional) Sprigs of mint, to serve 1 Put raspberries in a food processor or blender with icing sugar and orange juice.
