Make an old-fashioned lemon wine, three uses around the home for tea tree oil and a delicious way to re-purpose leftover cake. LEFTOVER CAKE CRUMBLES We often find ourselves wondering what to do with stale cake or, in my case, a cake that went disastrously wrong. This is a great idea for recycling that unwanted cake by turning it into crumbles that you can sprinkle on ice cream, yoghurt or custard. Heat your oven to 120oC.
