SQUEAKY CLEAN
The husband is very obliging at helping with household chores. I suggested a bathroom spring clean one day; I’d do the shower and cabinet, he the ceiling and walls. I was about to remove the towels when the husband said, “I won’t need to do those two walls as you don’t see behind them when the towels are hanging up!”

PIED PIPER
My starving son, on returning home after rugby practice, asked, “Mum, may I have a pie?” “No,” I replied. “Your tea is nearly ready.” Then, “May I have a sandwich?” he asked. “Oh, alright,” I said. Moments later, spying a pie between two slices of bread, I questioned, “What’s this?” “A sandwich,” son answered. “A pie sandwich.”
