A ROYAL MIX-UP
My nearly four-year-old great-grandson was reading the Otago Daily Times with his mother when he saw photos of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, Harry and Meghan. He said, “Look, Mum, it’s GG (great-grandma)!” She said, “No, it’s the Queen.” Then, he replied, “No, it’s actually GG.” Made my day.

Oh, young wit! During a social studies lesson, the teacher was telling his fifth-form class about the US and how it was divided into states. Later, he gave them a test and asked one pupil what state New York was in. “Over-populated, polluted and financially broke,” she replied. Not the answer he expected, but he agreed with her reply.
