My six-year-old granddaughter arrived home quite excited from school one day. “We learned French at school today!” she exclaimed. Impressed, I asked, “What words did you learn?” To which she hilariously replied, “Kia ora!”

ABSENT MINDED
I have made tea, or so I thought, at times, and only had hot water greet me, but never have I ever done what happened the other day. Looking for my hot potatoes that I had just mashed in the pot, I discovered them missing. I found it in the safest of places when I went to get the bread!
