RIDING HIGH
Many years ago, when my son was at primary school, a traffic inspector came to talk to the pupils about how to look after their bicycles and ride them safely. My son was given the job of thanking the inspector. Proudly, he stood up and said, ”Thank you for coming along and wasting your time talking to us!”

OH, HONEY!
On a visit to a health food shop recently, Mum and I busily searched for a particular brand of honey. Unfortunately, we failed to locate it, so Mum eventually turned to a young man nearby who was busy restocking the shelves. “Do you have thyme honey?” asked Mum. “Certainly love,” he replied. “It’s 10 past three.”
