There’s no question that as you get older, the birthday gifts you covet change. When I was in my twenties, I wanted clothes and jewellery, in my thirties a new car, and in my forties a trip to Italy. I suspect that by the time I’m as old as the Weekly, my interest in birthday presents may have waned, but in case not, here’s my list.
