BLOOMS GALORE
Two-and-a-half years ago, I had a hip replacement, and I recently had my other hip operated on. A dear friend visited me in hospital the first time and gifted me a cerise-coloured cyclamen. On my return home from this second operation, there was my cyclamen in all its glory with 50 blooms looking magnificent. How delighted I was!

MUSTA MIST HIM!
Shortly after one of our musterers had departed on his horse, Sal, to muster sheep, a heavy fog came down. On his return, he was asked, “Was the fog heavy out on the hill, Joe?” His reply, “Yes, it was so heavy, I had to squeeze my knees together to find out whether Sal was still there.”
