I USED TO WORK FOR THE POST OFFICE, a clerk. Fourteen years. And before that, I did construction. I still do odds and ends like side jobs: a sink, a faucet, a light fixture. That’s what I do. I make my living and get my food stamps. My ex-wife, she drives a city bus.
