AFRICAN SCIENCE CAMP
Dear Nat Geo Kids,
During the summer, I went on on a month-long trip to Western Uganda with my mum, who was teaching a course for the Tropical Biology Association. We lived in the Kibale National Park Rainforest, which has 13 primate species, including endangered chimpanzees!
I saw lots of other cool animals, too, such as hippos and elephants. We went on many walks where we learnt how to identify birds, catch insects and survey tree species. We also discussed the impact humans are having on the forest. I loved being in the rainforest, because it always felt alive, with a million animals around you at any moment, making a million different noises! Here are some photos from my trip.
