First, it is not recommended to use straight fertiliser which contains only potassium element during fruiting period. It must be combined with other nutrients, in other words-a compound fertilizer high in potassium.
Secondly, after pollination, when fruits are at the stage of ping pong size, we can use potassium chloride type fertiliser to get fruits to swell at this stage.On the other hand, taste, flavor and quality of pulp will not be affected at this stage.
