CMA MUSIC FESTIVAL 811 The annual event cruises into downtown for a long weekend of live shows. The annual CMA Music Festival is taking over downtown Nashville once again, drawing fans from all over the world. The fest features performances by country megastars, like Blake Shelton, Brad Paisley, Florida Georgia Line, Josh Turner, Lady Antebellum, Luke Bryan, Miranda Lambert, and Thomas Rhett. Beyond live music, country music fanatics can take part in Fan Fair X, located inside Music City Center, to experience one-on-one connections with their favorite stars. The historical period drama, Downton Abbey, is showcasing its award-winning wardrobe at Cheekwood Estate & Gardens. The 36 period costumes to be featured in Dressing Downton: Changing Fashion for Changing Times were created by the London costume house, Cosprop Ltd. The series, which ran from 2010 to 2015, spans more than a decade of the fictional Crawley family members’ lives, starting in 1912 and ending in 1925. The series follows the lavish lives of the British aristocracy and the fascinating connection between the elite and their servants. The Next Generation Heritage Foundation will host Three Blind Vines on June 10 inside Liberty Hall at the Factory at Franklin. Nashville natives Jesse Harbison and Allison Duke have launched Mirror, Mirror, a new, weekly beauty podcast and blog that features interviews with women in the beauty and fashion industries. Harbison hosts the podcast, while Duke is the executive producer and marketing director. They are also joined by photographer Ashtin Paige and sound engineer Nick Pichnic.
