Many years ago, Lorraine and Patrick Frey fell under the spell of the Luberon, with its charming old villages (Gordes, Lourmarin, Ansouis, Ménerbes…), warm colors and divine light. In 2010, they eventually purchased an old bastide (typical Provençal farmhouse) in the historic village of Cabrières d'Avignon, that had previously belonged to Lorraine’s parents. A little more than 3 hours by train from Paris, the house was already a gathering place for the extended Frey family.
The core of the estate, with its ancient stone façades, dates to the 18th century. Originally, it was a simple farmer’s dwelling which, over time, was transformed into a real farm.
