During the KTM Duke’s 30th anniversary shindig in Spain, we also got a chance to ride the 1390 Super Duke R EVO. The technical presentation was brief, but it was highlighted by a promotional video that featured no music, and no artsy, moody riding scenes. Instead, our senses were stimulated by roaring, angry engine sounds, screeching power slides, and smoking tires — and the official event hashtag, #nobullshit. Former MotoGP racer Jeremy McWilliams was present to give the Super Duke’s technical presentation. McWilliams has a long history with the Duke: He has been a development rider since 2008 and has worked extensively on all Duke models, including the Super Duke R EVO ($22,699).
