THE fourth annual festival of Indian state culture, Under The Peepal Tree, organised by Grooming Babies took place between February 18 and 19, 2017 at Maharashtra Nature Park, Mumbai. Laying emphasis on the need for early cultural socialisation and the importance of developing healthy ethnic pride in children, each year the festival selects an Indian state, bringing alive its folk and literary culture through various workshops, activities and performances. This year, the beautiful state of Assam took the centre stage where all activities were inspired by the state culture of Assam, comprising a mix of games, workshops, experiential engagements and performances.
