A SPOONFUL OF mustard helps the cholesterol go down. Mary Poppins’ version had a better ring to it, admittedly, but if you want a daily health boost, mustard is just the ticket. Researchers discovered a heaped teaspoon (10g) of the wholegrain variety, eaten every day for 12 weeks, reduced blood glucose and/or cholesterol in 86% of study volunteers.
