It’s that time of year in most of the country when flowers are beginning to bloom, the grass is turning a lovely green, we’re putting away our winter clothes, opening the windows and doors at home, and thinking about what we want to do for our summer vacation. What does all of this mean for our quilting time? Plan A — our fall and winter schedule — gives lots of indoor time when we can be making quilts. So much so that I am overwhelmed just trying to manage all of my projects and supplies. Recently I have been on a mini quilt bender. I realized that if I made smaller projects, I could make more projects! Mini Accent, a pattern from McCall’s Quilting January/February 2015, was calling my name.
