Admittedly, I’m typing this letter in lockdown dressed in my usual COVID dregs, but I’m still on a sartorial high following the whirlwind of Australian Fashion Week. After a two-year hiatus, AFW returned with gusto, colour and creativity, confirming the undisputed uplifting impact of fashion. It was just the antidote needed after endless months of dour global news and drab leisurewear.
