This letter is being written from my paper-strewn dining table as Iâve been forced to work from home amid the corona crisis. I havenât flown in from China, Europe or Iran, nor am I displaying flu-like symptoms; my only crime was a quick flight to Melbourne, but my company is taking zero chances. So here I am, gloriously glam in my trackies, T-shirt and uggs, trying to be all editor-like. Well, screw that. Thereâs no room for pretence; these are desperate, dystopian times, and it feels like weâre all extras in a disaster blockbuster.
To counteract these collective apocalyptic feelings, I hope our May issue â filled with uplifting stories from inspirational women â manages to elevate your spirits, especially if youâre isolating on the couch at home.
First up,âŠ
