Unseen Art, a Finnish start-up, wants to redress this. Based on the notion that one of the most efective ways blind people can conceptualise something is through touch, the company formulated an idea to re-create the world’s most popular masterpieces using 3D printers. Thousands of British women are choosing to undergo vaginal surgery so that they are more comfortable while cycling. One plastic surgeon estimates that she sees up to nine women every week who want to reshape their vulva with labiaplasty to overcome painful bruising and swelling from sitting in the saddle, often while commuting to work.
