FOOD FOR THOUGHT
Little Issy Quinney loves birthday parties. Like all tots, the little girl from Victoria’s Surf Coast loves seeing her friends and playing games. But when the pass-the-parcel and the treasure hunt are over, and when the other kids sit down to tuck into usual party fare like fairy bread, cake and sausage rolls, Issy, five, will instead open up the snack box her mother, Sarah, has made for her. Inside she might find popcorn, a raw cheesecake and maybe a toy.
