Joel Neoh’s natural curiosity, creativity and out-of-the-box thinking were evident throughout his career, but he never expected to start his own company. Hailing from a family of civil servants, persuading his parents to support his entrepreneurship pursuit was tough. “My parents would ask what I was doing and when I would stop this hobby,” he recalls. “There was a lot of insecurity in the early years as I graduated as a mechanical engineer.
