The workbench is empty, The tools are laid down.
The craftsman ascended, His work here is done.
The skill he acquired, The love he has shown.
He used it for God, And now he’s gone home.
The sound of the hammer, We’ll hear it no more.
But the sound of his laughter, Now sounds on Heaven’s shore.
His mission was clear To all he did meet. His faith unwavering, In Jesus, complete.
His message was simple, For all to embrace:
Cherish the Lord, And grow in His grace.
The workbench is empty, for that we are sad.
But for Andy we’re happy, Our brother, grandpa, and dad.
