A young woman inherited a beautiful garden from her grandmother. She loved gardening too and was very proud of her garden. One day, she saw a lovely plant in a catalogue and wanted that for her garden. She ordered it and planted it at the base of the stonewall in her backyard. For these children, the platform schools are their only hope of an education. A simple idea Inderjit Khurana’s Ruchika began in 1985 as a school for 14 needy children on The Bhubaneshwar railway platform. Today There are wore Than 500 students.
