Tanika® Lomandra longifolia ‘LM300’ has long been the go-to strappy plant in non-humid Aussie landscapes, but it has a weakness: it doesn’t do well in wet feet and, in humid conditions, can be prone to phytophthora. Lady Tanika® Lomandra longifolia ‘LM360’ PBR is a new phytophthora-resistant lomandra with weeping foliage. It’s shorter and wider than the classic Tanika® and less attractive to ants, which can spread root rot diseases. Its wider spread covers ground more effectively than the upright foliage of Tanika® Lomandra, making it more effective for preventing weeds and preserving line of sight. This cultivar doesn’t produce pollen, making it a good choice for landscapes where insects and birds are undesirable, such as near busy roads and around airports and playgrounds.
