A YEAR ago we ran a full-page advert in the magazine titled ‘LRM’s Got Talent’. It was an appeal to readers, to tell us why their Land Rover should be on the cover of LRM. The response was overwhelming. No surprises there – who would not want to be on the cover of their favourite Land Rover magazine? I have said this in the past and I will say it again: Land Rovers are not just the sum total of bits. They are a means to an end. That end might be a once-in-a-lifetime adventure. IF WE all follow good practice while out greenlaning it will help to ensure that we can keep enjoying off-roading in some of England’s most beautiful spots for the foreseeable future. THE ONE-DAY indoor show is back this November at the National Agricultural and Exhibition Centre, Warwickshire. The Great British Land Rover Show, sponsored by BFGoodrich, will showcase all the best Land Rover kit, parts and merchandise, overland travel specialists and equipment, insurance and tools. Class of 2018 LAST MONTH Jaguar Land Rover welcomed almost 500 new graduates and apprentices, making the car brand UK’s number one graduate and apprentice employer. Working in all areas of the business, the newcomers will play a vital role in shaping the autonomous, connected, electrified future of JLR. BACK IN our August issue we ran a competition from Heritage Insurance, who were giving away their Land Rover 110, and we’re now pleased to announce the winner.
