After a couple of weather-related setbacks, JUST CARS & COFFEE Brisbane is back on track with new energy and a new location. First held in Samford Village, JUST CARS & COFFEE will now be held in Geebung at Café Elle. Located at 67 Robinson Road East, in the Virginia Professional Business Centre (enter via Bilsen Road or Robinson Road East), Café Elle has been the venue for other Cars & Coffee-style events in the past, so it’s ideal for JUST CARS & COFFEE meets. This year’s Midstate Mopars is not too far away. The second-largest Chrysler show in Australia will be held on 7 and 8 June (King’s Birthday long weekend) in Bendigo. Presented by the Central Victorian Chrysler Club Inc., Midstate Mopars welcomes all Chrysler vehicles made in Australia and the US, including Plymouth, Dodge, Imperial and DeSoto. Tom Hartley Jnr Ltd, a respected dealer in high-end historic cars, has brokered one of the biggest sales of all time, selling the 69-car collection of Bernie Ecclestone. The former F1 Chief Executive announced last December that he wanted to part with his collection, entrusting Tom Hartley Jnr with the sale that was finalised in March. Made up entirely of historic Grand Prix and Formula 1 cars, Ecclestone’s collection has been valued at more than AU$1 billion. “This is quite simply the most important race car collection in the world.
