I’m no stranger to this wonderful magazine, having been part of the Ideal Home family for well over a decade, and I’m thrilled to be its newest custodian. Originating in ancient Venice, terrazzo was invented as a way to use up marble waste – early upcycling at its best! Q What is terrazzo? There are two types: cement and resin. Cement is the traditional form; it’s durable and usually less expensive than resin. Modern resin terrazzo includes epoxy resin, binding aggregate and pigments.
