‘WHETHER YOU ARRIVE ON A SINGLE-SPEED BICYCLE OR IN A MASERATI, YOU WILL FEEL COMFORTABLE.’ The launch of Trumpet, the first major development in the Keyes Art Mile in Rosebank, Joburg, marks the beginning of major plans to transform Keyes Avenue and its surrounds into a walkable mixed-use precinct. Art galleries Everard Read and Circa will be complemented by a range of new galleries, shops, restaurants, cafés and residences. Like Circa, Trumpet was designed by architecture firm StudioMAS and is home to chef David Higgs’ new restaurant, Marble, on the top level, and a range of galleries, including SMAC, Whatiftheworld and Southern Guild, and local and international designer outlets such as Anatomy Design and Missibaba.
