AWARENESS of equine welfare in racing has never been higher, and one very important aspect of that is what thoroughbreds do after their racing career is over. Team chasing is a sport in which exracehorses consistently shine, with many of the leading teams favouring the thoroughbred as their mount of choice.
However, as with any discipline the retraining process is key.
