A stitch in time
Dundonian culture, from its hardworking female figures to its unique dialect, will be celebrated this summer with the reintroduction of the Dundee Tapestry at the V&A. Following a short break for conservation, the wildly popular tapestry – stitched by 140 volunteers – will be back on display, with stories broken into eight illustrative themes: Communities, Nature, Industry, Women, Education, Culture and Creative, International and Futures. While away hours taking in each detail of this impressive piece.
