AS I WRITE this, it's late November and everyone, myself included, seems to be in a bit of denial about just how close the end of the year really is. It's that strange few weeks when we start hunkering down with steely determination, knowing that summer is almost upon us — and the out-of-office is beckoning.
When it's time to activate that OoO, we're drawn to the coast, the lake, the mountains; to places where we can revel in simplicity and a slower pace of life.
