Milan Design Week 2024 The most interesting trait of the Salone del Mobile — and, in fact, the entire Design Week— has always been its collaborations. Salone’s superpower is its ability to erode the thin line between design and art, or design and other disciplines.
The Salone’s 2024 iteration was particularly good at this. Filmmakers, novelists, scientists, poets, musicians, artists all lent a hand, not just at ‘decorating’ the event but at a more granular level, influencing the ideology and craft of the industrial designs that are likely to permeate our private and public spaces in the future.
