SELF-CARE, PERSONIFIED
Valencia-based heritage porcelain brand Lladro has successfully updated its image for the younger generations with a slew of exciting contemporary collaborators, one of whom is the Spanish multidisciplinary designer Jaime Hayon. Launched at the fall edition of Maison & Objet in Paris recently, Jaime’s Embraced porcelain figurine is a personification of self-care. “The character in Embraced is contorting himself to embrace and be comfortable with himself,” says Jaime. Available in three colour variants: glossy pastel pink, soft yellow or decorated with Jaime’s colourful illustration, the character is depicted as smiling serenely, capturing the post-pandemic zeitgeist while lending a playful yet calming touch to your space.
Lladro Embraced retails for €1,280 ($1,773.5, for pink and yellow variants) and €3,700 ($5,126.6,w for the limited edition colourful variant) at www.lladro.com.…
