This year spring seemed to take forever to get here. (Remember when it was 30 degrees below zero a couple months ago? Hard to forget!) One good thing about enduring frigid temps: These warmer, more light-filled days feel even sweeter. As much as I like to hibernate in winter, lighting a fire and plowing through my DVR queue under thick, woolly throws, I’ve had my fill. Now the sun’s brighter, the long underwear is packed away in plastic bins, and it’s time to shake off the chills and do something. (Sorry!) “While most people wouldn’t split dessert with someone who’s coughing or sneezing, there’s no way to know if a person is about to come down with a cold or a stomach bug, which their fork or spoon could spread,” says Donald W.
