Whenever someone brings a kid, mom, or friend to the office for the first time, the tour always includes a good long look inside our prop closet. The "closet" is actually a 15-foot-by-15-foot room of wall-to-wall shelves stocked with accessories that our editors are constantly packing and unpacking for photo shoots. On any given day, you can find dozens of pillows, vases, towels, candles, trays, coffee mugs, canisters, glasses, throws, rolls of wrapping paper, books, rugs, cute boxes, and baskets—and even the occasional dog toy. Every time I walk in there, I immediately imagine re-accessorizing my home. (By the way, to me, re-accessorizing is the same thing as redecorating.)
