At first glance, Kristy Socarras Bigelow and Brian Bigelow's Denver kitchen looks pretty classic—subway tiles, open shelves, oak floors. Like many young couples' first place, the rental house that Bryn and Matt Dunn shared in Orange County, CA, was a no-frills space full of hand-me-down furniture.
