Huize van Wely, a Dutch patisserie and chocolatier with over 100 years of history, has opened its first store in Singapore, located at Raffles Hotel Singapore. This outpost, the brand’s first in-house dining store in Asia, includes a 42-seater tea room and bar.
Renowned for its pastry-making expertise, Huize van Wely is a favourite of the Dutch royal family. Signature creations include the Champagnecake ($65), featuring white chocolate, almond sponge, and Moet & Chandon Champagne cream ganache, all encased in marzipan and a dark chocolate shell. High tea sets, which pair cocktails with plated desserts, are also available (from $88 for two diners).
