As a Stoic, Aurelius espoused natural order, professed moderation in all things, and believed that actions spoke louder than words. And so, despite the idea that machinery is not necessarily in keeping with that natural order, and the ’66 Oldsmobile 4-4-2 W-30 on these pages certainly not in keeping with the temperate nature that defined the Stoics, we suspect the noble Roman would still have rather enjoyed himself being strapped in for a ride.
