THE AUBURN-CORD-DUESENBERG MUSEUM HAS announced a new exhibit dedicated to the decorative mascots and hood ornaments that have been a part of the hobby for more than a century. This is the first of a two-part display, featuring an exhibit of 150 specifically chosen pieces from the Jon Zoler Collection, ranging from 1911 to 1957. The ornaments and mascots were intended to reflect their brand’s unique image, and they have become highly collectible in the years since, often serving as one of the final touches to a restoration project. Pieces on display include examples from Auburn, Buick, Cadillac, Chevrolet, Cord, Duesenberg, La Salle, Oldsmobile, Pontiac, Studebaker, and many more.
