THE TWELVE IS CONSIDERED TO BE ONE of the finest automobiles built by Packard. The sedan’s long, flowing hood conceals a refined, smooth, and powerful 473-cu.in. powerplant developing 175 horsepower.
The one-off body built by Rollston cost $7,500 when new, which equates to about $140,000 today. This car was built for Augustus Schell Hutchins, the son of Waldo Hutchins, who was a member of New York’s Central Park Board of Commissioners.
