‘The atmosphere was perfect. I loved it’ Ronnie Ronnie Wood never fails to light up the stage on tour with the Rolling Stones, but last week he illuminated London, too, by turning on the Christmas lights in Carnaby Street, a world-famous epicentre of fashion since the Swinging Sixties.
As the legendary rocker flicked the festive switch to the marine-themed installation – created in partnership with ocean conservation charity Project Zero – it turned into a full-on family night out.
Gathered around him were not only his wife, theatre producer Sally Humphreys, and their three-year-old twin girls Alice and Gracie, but also his ex-wife Jo Wood and two of their children, Leah, 41, and Tyrone, 36, plus Leah’s daughter Maggie, ten, and six-year-old son Otis.
A FORCE FOR WOOD
