SIR CLIFF RICHARD Wins £2m in legal fight against BBC Sir Cliff Richard has reached a settlement in his action against the BBC after it showed live coverage of a police raid on his Berkshire home. The 78-year-old singer, who won a privacy case against the broadcaster last year, will receive £2m towards his legal costs – less than half the £4.5m he spent. Sir Cliff started his fight after the BBC used a helicopter to film the 2014 police raid and reported he was being investigated over historical sexual assault claims.
