PRINCESS EUGENIE Turns spotlight on modern-day slavery Princess Eugenie carried out a surprise engagement at Westminster Abbey as part of a day focused on fighting 21st-century slavery. She was joined for a tour of the historic building by John Cotton Richmond, US ambassador-at-large for combatting trafficking in persons. During the trip, the group stopped in front of a statue of politician William Wilberforce, who fought for the abolition of the slave trade.
