The Queen has led the royal family in offering condolences to countries affected by one of the worst cyclones to hit Africa. The monarch sent messages to the Presidents of Malawi, Mozambique and Zimbabwe, offering her “thoughts and prayers” to countries ravaged by Cyclone Idai, which has left many people surrounded by contaminated water.
