WILLIAM G STEWART Fifteen to One star dies aged 84 William G Stewart, best known for his long-term role presenting TV quiz show Fifteen to One, has died at the age of 84. “Sadly William G Stewart passed away peacefully this morning surrounded by his family after a brief illness,” said a statement from his agent. William, a TV director and producer as well as presenter, hosted Fifteen to One from 1988 to 2003. Former England football captain Wayne Rooney has been taken off the roads for two years after pleading guilty to drink-driving. Stockport Magistrates’ Court also ordered the 31-year-old Everton footballer to carry out 100 hours of community service and pay a fine of £170.
