The Duke of Cambridge has won praise after flying to the rescue of two stranded walkers in Snowdonia. The 30-yearold pilot Prince, known as Flight Lt Wales at his North Wales base, was at the controls of an RAF Search and Rescue Sea King helicopter which found the frozen couple on a peak in the Glyder range.
