HESTON BLUMENTHAL Chef’s colleagues killed in car crash TV chef Heston Blumenthal is mourning two colleagues who were killed in a car accident in Hong Kong last week. Swedishborn Magnus Lindgren, 30, and Briton Ivan Jorge, 34, were promoting Heston’s new restaurant in the country when a double-decker bus crashed into their taxi. Heston was reported to have been in another taxi just behind that of his colleagues. Magnus had worked at the chef’s famed Fat Duck restaurant in Bray, Berkshire for seven years before moving back home, where he worked as a consulting chef for Heston.
